Which of these sets consists entirely of prime numbers? Select one of the options below as your answer: A. 3, 6, 9, 12, 15 B. 4, 8, 12, 16, 20 C. 3, 5, 7, 11, 13 D. 3, 5, 7, 9, 11

Do you know what prime numbers are? The question is just a matter of searching through each answer and eliminating it if it has non-primes... so look for easy answers like evens (all evens above 2 cannot be prime since they're divisible by 2), or numbers divisible by 3 (like 3, 6, 9, 12...). Only one answer above doesn't have one of these non-prime numbers. (hint: it's C). Let me know if you don't get the prime number concept though... this one should be easy.

Its D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D includes 9, and 9 is divisible by 3, so it isn't prime.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Answer D is in there to trick you, since 9 is "hidden" in with other primes

A

NO ITS B
