in general measurement system that are based on ten easiest are the easiest to for people to use infer why these system are easiest to use

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u tell me? lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There u are

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Don't get u

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do u think is the answer? lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If I do this then what's the point of doing this then

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Gotta go bye

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well it repeats symmetrically

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

HEEEEELLLLPP

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hi all of you people

hartnn (hartnn):

is this math question ? and hi :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hi

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

why base 10 is easiest for humans.. is that the q

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I really badly need help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its easier to calculate

hartnn (hartnn):

O.o , then its math.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know that in need more info

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hello ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Traces of the anthropomorphic origin of counting systems can be found in many languages. In the Ali language (Central Africa), for example, "five" and "ten" are respectively moro and mbouna: moro is actually the word for "hand" and mbouna is a contraction of moro ("five") and bouna, meaning "two" (thus "ten"="two hands"). It is therefore very probable that the Indo-European, Semitic and Mongolian words for the first ten numbers derive from expressions related to finger-counting. But this is an unverifiable hypothesis, since the original meanings of the names of the numbers have been lost.

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

place value increases by powers... and u only have to remember zero

OpenStudy (anonymous):

number system is from 0 to 9 right and if you include one more digit what would be that?/ using octal , binary and hexa decimal makes calculations more complex and using binary and octal is not much good so dont you think base 10 is always easier to calculate then base 8 , 16 , 2 and other??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Tahmina help ful??

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

consider base 5, place value increses as, 5, 5^2, 5^3, 5^4,.. 5, 25, 125, 625 where as for base 10, place value increase is very simple, 10, 10^2, 10^3, 10^4,... 10, 100, 1000, 10000,...

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

thats the ONLY reason i see for opting for base 10. other than that, every number system is same.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes this was helpful but can u write it like an 8thgrader would an advanced one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

may be :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pLEASE HELP ME

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Beg You Pa dar ya

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry for the language

OpenStudy (anonymous):

HELP PLEASE

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Help :( im sick in bed waiting for someone to help me with this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what type of answer you want :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a simply one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

HELP

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so look tha 10^30 is easy or 8 ^ 30 ?? using 10 digits makes calculations easier and less time it takes. secondly using digits from 0 to 9 is a better way to express all terms that are around us :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

YES or No

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes enough if you want more i can tell more

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes please tell me but make it simple like you did for this 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

counting in other number system is difficult like in binary: 0 = 0 1 = 1 but 2 = 10 so it starts repeating where in decimal it becomes easier to count

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank YOU

OpenStudy (anonymous):

fine enough??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you are welcome :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i have 1 question what nationaly are u

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im not a stalker just look like someone i saw

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where?? :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In new York where i live

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no i am not an american :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but NY is my dream place i'd love to work for google after my engineering in NY

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Bye Gotta Go

OpenStudy (anonymous):
