Find the midpoint of the points (2,-5) and (-3, 0).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There's an easy way and a really hard way. I opt for the easy way, so I'm guessing you are also. Here goes...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The midpoint coordinate of x will be the average of the x coordiantes of the 2 given points. Same with y.

OpenStudy (amorfide):

to get the mid point is the same as finding the average you will add the x coordinates together and divide it by two then add y coordinates and divide by two they are you midpoint coordinates for x and y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You would subtract the x of one coordinate by the other, and do the same with the y. The answers you get can be put into a coordinate which becomes the midpoint.

Make sense?

can u draw it ?
