you cant have two answers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first..check for which of the lines the point fits in

OpenStudy (anonymous):

as in...plug in x and y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

done?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y-(-8)=3(x-(8))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks for spoiling the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use this @Falkqwer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so is it d or c now im confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

see..plug in the point 8,-8 for D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the formula is y-y1=m(x-x1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the equation is satisfied

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if this is multiple choice question and u want to solve it quick what you can do it put the point 8,-8 in the equation if LHS=RHS, thenm thats the equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats good............now what is ur answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thx every one :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

DDDDDD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the detailed way is , general equation of line is y=mx+c, now slope =3 , put it in the equation u get y=3x+C now since it passes threough 8,-8 put 8, -8 in the equation to get c

Thanks ;)
