well, in my work, i approximated g to 10m/s^2. So, 7.8 degrees is right, i think.
ohh ok I see.
So we did end up using 18/5cos(theta) for t. Thank you so much for your time bahrom! (And thank you rajathsbhat, too, for checking work =)
