Describe a new anatomical position that you would design. Assuming it is accepted by the scientific community, why would this position be acceptable?

Do you know what "anatomical position" is?

nope

Alrighty. In every book that talks about, and shows the human body, the body is always in the same position. The body is always shown standing upright, with arms at the side, and palms facing up. Like in this picture: http://www.daftblogger.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/human-body-anatomical-position1.jpg Sometimes, the picture may show a side view, or a view from the back, but the person is always standing in that same position. And that position, that is shown in EVERY anatomy book and picture, is called the "anatomical position." This is the universal "anatomical postion." You see why it's a good position? The body is laid flat, and all the parts of the body can be shown clearly, in any 2D picture. Your assignment is asking you to design a new "anatomical position." It's asking you two make up a different anatomical position. A GOOD anatomical position. One that could also be used in textbooks, to clearly show every part of the human body from the front, side, and back views.
