Integrate [cos2a-cos2x/cosa-cosx] dx

hartnn (hartnn):

write cos 2a as 2cos^2 a-1 and cos 2x as 2cos^x-1 then u get numerator as 2(cos^2 x + cos^2 a-1) not sure this is best way,but try it out..... isn't the numerator cos2a-cos2x ??

hartnn (hartnn):

i think saif meant this: Integrate [(cos2a+cos2x)/(cosa+cosx)] dx isn't it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is actually cos2a-cos2x/cosa-cosx.... really srry hartnn... :(
