like:::our air is very polluted... or 1. Polar bears love salmon. 2. It is hailing somewhere in the world at the moment. 3. My teacher hates snow days. 4. From the growling of his stomach, he must have not eaten in the last 3 hours. 5. Butterflies love pink flowers over yellow ones.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

plz tell it is right beacuz i have to go

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What would this statement be -She scored well on the test, so she must have studied-

OpenStudy (anonymous):

inference or observation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and what would -If I put sugar on my tea, I think it will be sweeter- be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what u think help me plz about the both

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The test one is an inference?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok the other one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wouldnt that be a hypothesis?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well i think that the first one is inference because we make a conclusion that she got an A on the test so she must have studied well or she must have cheated, the other one is the observation because if do an observation that if we put sugar in the tea it will be sweet so thats it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k, wait!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need help on two more things.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok plz tell it hurry i have to go

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok shoot it plz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, can u please give me a n example of a prediction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I predict that today is gonna be rainig since the sky is dark and gray.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and then a hypothesiss?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if somebody jumps off a roof then they will fall because of the force of gravity. all you do is use if...,then...,because... for whatever you think it could be right or wrong it doesnt matter

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or a better answer is A hypothesis is not just an "educated guess" as many may define it. It's more of what you think the outcome of the experiment you are about to do is going to be. For Example... Independent variable: The burning of the clothes. Dependent variable: Which t-shirt takes longer to burn. If you were burning t-shirts to see which brand takes longer to burn, and you thought that shirt "A" would last longer than shirt "B" you would write: I believe that shirt A will last longer than shirt B because (your reason for believing this).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k,thanks.

Glad tooooooooo help!
