Using complete sentences, explain how to graph y = x - 2 using the slope-intercept method.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you have so far?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dont get how to do it eaither so nothing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the -2=y int

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So I start my line at -2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and go up 1 over to the right 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and then I go down 1 over to the left 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and draw the arrows at the end

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kk thank you!

y=x-2 the -2 represents the y-intercept. For this equation, we don't have any slope because the 'x' is just x so all you do is put a point on -2 because that's your y-intercept then go 1 unit up and 1 unit to the right. I hope that helps :)
