Can someone explain what justified means in this sentence Do you think their actions were justified?
I'll try to explain the best I can. If someone, say insults you in some way, and you turn around and shoot them, then your action is not a justified action. It means "is there a good and valid reason for the person to have taken the particular action in question"
In this case I am trying to answer this question 5. How did French Canadians react when Conscription was enacted? Do you think their actions were justified? So does it mean weather what the french did was right or wrong?
Or does it mean if their actions were responded to
yes - in your view do you think the actions taken by the French were "just"?
i.e. if you were in their position, would you have done the same thing?
or. more generally, if a person of good standing was in their position, would they have taken the same action?
Arright Thanks
