Differential equations question. On this page: http://tutorial.math.lamar.edu/Classes/DE/SystemsDE.aspx , example 1 says "Now notice that if we differentiate both sides of these we get" and proceeds to give a value for y''. Could someone please explain to me how the value equal to y'' was reached? I can not understand how it could be found via differentiation.

example 1 starts with the differential equation 2y'' - 5y'+y = 0 using this equation we get y'' = (5/2)y' - y/2
