If f(x)=3/(x-3), then f^-1(x)= A. x-3/3 B. x+3/x C. 3/(x+3) D. 3((x+1)/x) E. No inverse exists

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I did the math and I found the inverse. However, I do not see the inverse on the set of answers....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For the inverse, f(x) is the same as y. So y = 3/(x-3). To find the inverse, exchange y's for x's and x's for y's, and solve for y.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I did that and stumbled upon y=(3+x)+3. I don't know if I'm doing this wrong or not....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry (3/x)+3
