Write an equation for the total number of coins. 1.D%2BQ=46 Write an equation for the total value of the coins. 2.10D%2B25Q=700 Multiply eq. 1 by -10 and add to eq. 2, -10D-10Q%2B10D%2B25Q=-460%2B700 15Q=240 Q=16 Then from eq. 1, D%2BQ=46 D%2B16=46 D=30 Thirty dimes and sixteen quarters.
