Solve the equation using square roots.
x^2 - 9 = 0 --> x^2 = 9 x = ±√9 --> x = ±3
\[x ^{2} = 9\] so , can u find the result by yourself? ;)
I dont know how to find the answer @febylailani, @miicchi
i just showed you. [: i wrote x squared as x^2. x^2 -9 = 0 --> add 9 on both sides so that it becomes x^2 = 9. to check the answer i gave, just solve 3^2, or 3 * 3, and you'll get 9. so the answer is ±3. or do you have to graph it as well?
@miicchi found the answer. every square root has two answer. \[x ^{2} = 9\] \[x = \sqrt{9}\] x = \[\pm 3\] x = 3 or x = -3 got it?
A. –3, 3 B. –9, 9 D. no real number solutions C. \[-\sqrt{3}, \sqrt{3}\]
@miicchi, @febylailani , So the answer would be A?
yes [:
Thank you @miicchi and @febylailani
yup :)
uwc :)
