What defines an organelle, and do prokaryotic cells contain organelles? Many websites seem to have conflicting answers.
What defines an organelle :Organelle means a differentiated structure within a cell, such as a mitochondrion, vacuole, or chloroplast and do prokaryotic cells contain organelles? : No. Prokaryotic cells do no contain organelles. Eukaryotic cells do. thats what i found... does this help at all ??
Apparently they do have organelles, but they are not membrane-bound. Now I have to figure out how to stretch this tiny bit of information to about 200 words.
Sorry i couldn't give you more information... :/
they contain organelles but not as complex as eukaryotic cells. they do not have nuclear membrane , they have small ribosomes, no chloroplast, no mitochondriA and has single circular chromosmes
@AaronMorris96 they contain organelles but not as complex as eukaryotic cells. they do not have nuclear membrane , they have small ribosomes, no chloroplast, no mitochondriA and has single circular chromosmes
Thank you both! That's section 1 of this essay done, now for the rest of it...
