Midpoint formula:

OpenStudy (lukecrayonz):

\[(x_{2}+x_{1})/2,(y_{2}+y_{1})/2\]

OpenStudy (lukecrayonz):

I'll do line AD and you can do the rest hopefully, I'll help if you need.

OpenStudy (lukecrayonz):

Point A= (0, 3) Point D= (-2, -1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay yeah that would help its been awhile since I've had to do math

OpenStudy (lukecrayonz):

-2+0/2, is -1. So your midpoint x coordinate is -1. 3+(-1)/2, 3-1=2, 2/2=1 So your midpoint y coordinate is 1. (-1, 1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thank you i remember doing this awhile back so it brings back memories of doing it

OpenStudy (lukecrayonz):

|dw:1348684900663:dw| That's the second part :)
