IF p is directly proportional to w does that mean p=kw

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes it does, if k is a constant. example: p is directly proportional to w.... p is twice w. p = 2w with k = 2 p is 3 times k.... p = 3w with k = 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how would you write: A is proportional to the square of t and inversely proportional to the cube of x? A=kt^2+1/(kx^3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that correct?

If p is directly proportional to w, you could write it like this |dw:1348689134258:dw|
