How do you use the Rational Zeros Theorem to determine if there are any zeros in the polynomial f(x)=6x^3-5x-1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Given a polynomial ax^n+.......+ c, the RZT says that possible roots are given by plus/minus factor combos of c/a, in this case 1/6 so 1/1,-1/1,1/2,-1/2, etc

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So, those are the possible zeros? And now I need to plug them in and see if they work, correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, your question doesn't say you actually have to do it but yes, that's what you would do.

Okay, thanks so much.
