Simplify........... (8x^2)/(x^2-9 ) ∙ (x^2+ 6x+9 )/(16x^3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

try this in the same way as i told you the previous

OpenStudy (anonymous):

[8x^2/[(x-3)(x+3)] * [(x+3)^2/(16x^3)] then I Cancel any factor common to a numerator and a denominiator, such as 8,x^2,(x+3), and get [1/(x-3)] * [(x+3)/x] Multiply to get: = (x/3)/[x(x-3)] correct???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just a min let me check

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its partly correct you missed writing something

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x+3)/(2x(x-3))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oops what did I miss?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ahhh I see thank you. I really suck at math, I am trying though.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

maths is fun.... just love it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I actually hate it, but I am almost 50yrs old and taking this again since high school. I was never taught algebra (the correct way) so I never learned the rules.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have one more week and my algebra days will be over thank goodness, I wish I did like it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh..it ok... you may ask for help any time....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):
