@edwardo24 can u help me on another question? pllllleeeeeeaseeee

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how would i do 3x+y>-1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to graph it...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u guide me step by step?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

subtract 3x from both sides, then graph as if there were an equals sign. if you are drawing the graph by hand, use as dashed line again. Then, because it is y>-3x-1, you will shade above to the right of the line

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait... why the right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cause x is negative ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it needs to be ABOVE the graph, so it needs to be on the right. idk how to explain it other than that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OHHHHHHHHH OKAY :D and do i just draw a line with no dashes when the < is underlineD?
