No I think you are confusing this problem with the Pythagorean Theorem. The Pythagorean theorem is used to find a missing side length of a triangle. Here we are finding a missing angle

And by the way the angles to a triangle no matter how you draw it MUST always add up to 180 degrees.

mmm if you decide to go for the PT it could be applicable if we know the lengths of two sides of a right angled triangle (But remember it only works on right angled triangles) if you use this method yes you might find an answer but why go for PT yet there is an easier method which is to equate the angles that is 67+83+C=180...Since all angles of a triangle always add up to 180 to give you 30...BUT remember m<C so it will be 180-30 to give you 150 as final answer...
