Choose the best description of how to calculate f[g(−2)] if f(x) = 13x2 and g(x) = 7x − 5. Calculate g(−2), plug the result into f(x) and simplify. Calculate f(−2) and g(−2), then mulitply them together. Calculate f(−2) and g(−2), then write the results as an ordered pair. Calculate f(−2) and g(−2), then subtract them.

OpenStudy (amorfide):

f[g(−2)] you want to do the function for g(-2) but because g(-2) is all in brackets, this means that when you come to the function f your value to stick into f is the value you get when doing g(-2) so you are doing g(-2) then sticking the result into f(x)

so D?

OpenStudy (amorfide):

no A
