geometry help!!! 2. Could I find the two missing side lengths of a right triangle if I only know one side length and one angle measure (other than the 90 degree angle)? 3. Could I find the two missing angle measures if I know some of the side lengths of a right triangle? 4. What makes a triangle a “special” right triangle? How can special right triangles help me find side lengths? i need examples...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2: yes 3: yes 4: the square of the hypotenus is the sum of the square of each other side and trigonometry is easier on a right triangle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4:example, if a right triangle has hypotenuse 5, then the two other sides are 3 and 4 because 5^2=3^2+4^2... 2:example, if you know one angle, you can get the third one by subtracting the one you know from 90. once you have that, use the formulas for sin, cos or tan to solve which ever side you want 3:example, assuming you know 2 sides, you can easily get the 3rd one using Pythagorean formula. then do inverse trig functions to get your angles.
