Favourite is kind of subjective. For me it kind of depends on the task at hand. I have the most experience in C++. These days I would say Java is likely one of the most useful to know. I like the forced indentation in python to teach good programming habits to beginners. I find VB good for making a quick, simple windows program and of course VBS for making Excel to complex things. I have also used many others in the past like Basic, Fortran, Pascal, Perl etc. My first programming experience was on a commodore PET computer at around age 10. I tried to create what we now call "AI" and ran out of memory, lol

Always wanted to learn Java and Visual Basic because I'm in the arts field. I'm excited to learn Python. I don't really have a strong programming background. I'm just getting my feet wet. But I really would love to learn Java. I think that would be my all-time favorite.

Python is my favorite. Can anybody guess my age based on fact that I have learned Python, Perl, C++, C#, HTTP, CSS, JavaScript, Delphi, and A++????/

I don't see basic, fortran or pascal so maybe not as old as me, however I do see delphi which is based on pascal so I would say late 30s

So she would have learned it quite possibly when she was 20ish in 86ish. You were likely born a few years before or after this. So let's say 83- 90, This would put your age between 22 and 29 approximately. You've learned mostly currently used languages so I would err towards the low end. This would mean 22-25 most likely.
