I was thinking about gravity. Can anyone help me find what is mistake in my new idea?
Noone here to help me?
I'm no expert, but I could try to lend a hand briefly!
Good luck!
I am thinking attractive force in nature is caused by only one way......... I mean in electromagnetism attractive force is caused by charges and in newtons gravity theory attractive force is caused by masses....... even-though the magnitude is different the qualitative property of attraction is same in both.....so, I am just wandering if there is same thing behind of attraction whether it's electron-proton or earth-sun
Am I just wasting my time or that makes some sense?
Thinking is not wasting time!
i guess google can answer that for you according to what i read just now ,try searching
It is common to like electromagnetism and gravitation! Have you seen their equations?
you mean inverse square laws?
@abhishekjais can you please send me link?
In fact, static electric force has the same property. I believe, though I'm tired and my memory isn't great, that the equations all look like\[F=C_{constant}\frac{p_{1, someProperty}-p_{2, someProperty}}{d_{distanceApart}^2}\]
why does mass attract other mass <------- this is the question you should search ; there are more that one topics which might be worth reading for you
Albert Einstein, among many other physicists, have been contemplating the possiblility of a "unified filed theory" to explain this pattern.
Internet is a great source!
You can also search for information about the other field forces, unless this will hurt your focus on gravity.
The properties in the numerators of the equations are like: electric: charge gravitational: mass
you may like to read how Einstein interpretted gravity in terms of space fabric if you are curious
And I'm not sure if/how magnetism fits in. I know that current theory places electrons as the source of magnetism, direction is decided by they're "spin". And if two charges interact through magnetism, they are moving relative to each other.
Oh, there are some good youtube videos that try to explain Einstein's theories! Good luck!
Also note that Einstein did not discover any unified field theory, and some physicists disagree with Einstein's approach. I wish I could remember the one physicist's name... Sorry I can't!
I read that Einstein based some of his theories of of someone else's work, and then sort of took a tangent, but that was the opinion of this physicist I can't remember.
your new idea? *w*
@rainbowink I don't know if someone already tought about that........it's new for me
