how do you graph -2x + 3y = 9

Parth (parthkohli):

Make a table of values.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

put the equation in slope intercept form so u would get y= 2/3x +3 now you just have to graph the point (0,3) your y-int. Because the slope is 2/3 you do up two, 3 to the left

Parth (parthkohli):

\[\begin{array}{l|r}x & y \\ \hline 1 & ? \\ \hline 2 & ? \\ \hline 3 & ? \end{array}\]

Parth (parthkohli):

Another way, as suggested by @malutella, is to use slope-intercept form.

Take a look at the graph
