HELP PLZZZ! 6qr+7rs-2st=-9forr

OpenStudy (anonymous):

same as before put the stuff with \(r\) on one side, everything else on the other factor out the \(r\) then divide i can walk you through it if you like

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or you can try it and say what you get either way

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no walk me throw lol i hate math an is very dumb at it big time i think i may have short term memory loss

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok here we go

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[6qr+7rs-2st=-9\] add \(2st\) to both sides, because it does not contain an \(r\) in it, get \[6qr+7rs=2st-9\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then factor the \(r\) from each term on the left to get \[(6q+7s)r=2st-9\]now divide both sides by \(6q+7s\) to get \[r=\frac{2st-9}{6q+7s}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is not as hard as it seems. notice that when i say "add" i do not really mean do an addition, it just means put a plus sign next to it likewise when i said "divide" i did not actually mean do any division, but rather put a fraction bar down and write it

hope the steps are clear, especially if you have a test or a quiz, and not just homework
