what is like type of DNA chain hydrogen bond? I mean the characterisctic.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hydrogen bond's in DNA are same as those in water but their density or in other words, number is of greater importance...

could you tell me more specific kryten?thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The DNA double helix has it's base's (AGCT) hydrogen bonded across the helix. Only certain base pairs are capable of hydrogen bonding with one another due to size constraints. These are G-C and A-T, G-C base pairs form 3 hydrogen bonds where A-T forms 2. It's easier to see how these structures hydrogen bond by looking at a diagram which can be found at this link along with some more information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Base_pair
