OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[f(g(x))=3(x^2-6)+4\] now plug -2 for x.

hartnn (hartnn):

did u understand ? or still need jelp ?

i understand i think one sec

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you show me the steps to see if i did it right? and i love your profile picture i'm a huge fan of dragon ball z

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@iamlegend Why don't YOU show your steps, so we can see if you did right ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3(x^2−6)+4 3((4-6)+4 3((-2)+4 =6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3(-2) = ....?

hartnn (hartnn):

just one error in last step, when you have multiplication and addition, you do multiplication first, according to PEDMAS

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh yeah right

hartnn (hartnn):

so you do 3(-2) first, then add 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer is -2

hartnn (hartnn):

yup.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thnx

hartnn (hartnn):

welcome ^_^
