I know the answer. Talk me through what you are thinking. The first thing I see is that there is no middle term like a typical polynomial. So it must have cancelled out. This can only happen if the factorization is in the form (a + b)(a - b)

C can't be right because it is saying that k^2 is factored out of both terms, but it isn't in both terms
