4g-g^3+5g^2-9 write polynomial in standard form.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

standard form is nothing but make the coefficient of the highest degree term positive...it is negative in that equation as -1..make it +1 by multiplying the equation with -1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait so it is +9 or what? like do i mulitply them or add

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[-(4g-g^{3}+5g^{2}-9)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

multiply the whole equation with -1. By doing that, the signs of all the terms change

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[=> g^{3}-5g^{2}-4g+9\]
