What is true about royalty-free images? They are free to use and do not require a license They can only be used for a short period of time They are exclusive images The user has to pay a one-time fee for their use
Do you know what the term "royalty" means?
The user has to pay a one-time fee for their use
"The user has to pay a one-time fee for their use" See, this is what's wrong with this site. When someone simply provides someone with an answer, and that answer is wrong, the original poster has no idea it's wrong because they haven't been taught anything. Not only are they not in a better spot (since they know as little now as they did before)—they're in a worse spot, because they can't solve the question *and* they think the wrong answer is correct.
@geoffb My answer is correct... https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&newwindow=1&site=webhp&q=royalty+free+images&tbs=dfn:1&tbo=u&sa=X&ei=Ak5vUNaPIqbtiwLA94BQ&ved=0CD4QkQ4&biw=1022&bih=565
Alamy is a stock agency; its definition of royalty-free is just that—its own. Look at the second definition on the page you posted. Royalty-free means free of royalties. No fee, no license. Even if your answer *was* right, it still doesn't justify giving people the answer. You're doing them a disservice by doing so.
