Factor the numerator and then you should be able to cancel terms and substitute 2 into the limit and solve.

i don't think the numerator will factor...unless i did it wrong?

It factors to 3(x-2)(x^2-x+1)

how did you do that? i can only figure out how to factor it to 3(x^3-3x^2+3x-2) how do you factor the cubic?

I use the Possible rational roots theorem to factor cubics.
