Given the function find f (x + h). f(x) = 3x-1
Do you need to do the full Diffference Quotioent f(x+h) - f(x) / h or just f(x+h)
just f(x+h). I have tried this everyway possible and keep getting wrong answer
you should just need to put (x + h) in where ever x is in your equation and solve. 3(x + h) -1
What is your book saying the answer should be?
OMG I am sooo dumb when I was looking at an example and it kept saying when you have h use 1/2 -3 and so I was trying to do that. Ha that was for that example. The answer is 3x+3h-1. Thanks for making me feel soooo dumb.lol Is that what I get for watching the niners and doing math
HAHA that's ok, I am watching to the vikings. That must be why I can do math a little better. Haha
Not much to watch that often :-)
