@henryrodriguez713 are you sure? I see, and I understand your method, its a perfectly way of solving this equation, would something else like 3y=22-11x work however? please explain...

Well, it depends. Actually, I don't think you'll ever encounter a situation when you need the equation to be stated as 3y=22-11x. So.. No, it wouldn't work. You have to solve for y in this instance unless specified or are trying to find another part of the equation.
