1 lap = 293m so you can write it like this: \[\frac{1lap}{293m}\] If you want to convert from 4993m to laps, then you can try to match the units: \[4993m*\frac{1lap}{293m}\] Notice how the two meter units cancel out and you're left with the lap unit.
