y=-4x
it is a decreasing graph for which for every 1 unit you move toward the positive x axis
you go down by 4 units in y direction
OpenStudy (anonymous):
So , it would be the 3rd graph ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
the 3rd graph is increasing graph
for every unit that you go toward the positive direction you move there 4 units up in y direction
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Ohhhhhhhhh, so its the 1st ?

What , I don't understand how its the last one?

see what the first thing i wrote

Yes . . .
OpenStudy (anonymous):
if you move one unit towards the positive x direction
you go down by 4 units in the y direction in the last graph

I kind of understand it a lil bit . . .
OpenStudy (anonymous):
another way to find which graph is it
is by plugging values in x and see what the corresponding y
for example x = 1 gives you y = -4
which holds only for the last graph
