Say we have the statement "If it rains, then it will be cold". Here are some examples of each. hypothesis --- If it rains, .... conclusion --- ... then it will be cold inverse --- if it does not rain, then it will not be cold converse -- if it is cold, then it will rain. Note that the conclusion always follows the hypothesis in an 'if' conditional. Hope that helps!
