everything occupies volume, except a gas at absolute zero (which is only theoretical anyways)

a gas at absolute zero ( 0 degrees in the Kelvin scale) would, theoretically, not occupy volume, but this is impossible since we can't achieve this temperature nor do we know if it will hold true.
