Find the lim(x,y)-(0,0) (3x^2+3y^2) log(x^2+y^2) The book says to turn it to polar coordinates. When I do that I get (3(r^2)) log(r^2) I don't know what to do now.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

r^2->0 as (x,y) ->0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

probably use l'Hopital's...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah, I was thinking about that, but I don't know what should go on top the (3r^2) or log(r^2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cool, you edited it so it's correct..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let's see...

I used 1/r^2 for the denom.

((ln(r^2)) ' / (r^-2) '
