I went through Purdue OWL's guide to usage of commas: http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/607/1/ I have a doubt in the following exercise: Exercise 1 (http://owl.english.purdue.edu/exercises/3/5/15/) says that the following sentence is correct and does not require the use of commas: The uninvited guest wore a dark blue tweed suit. But, can you insert a comma between dark and blue and claim that "dark" and "blue" are co-ordinate adjectives that describe the tweed suit. (Rule 6 as per guideline)

Blue is a dark color. So, dark blue is one idea.
