I need a equation with a infinite solution. Please solve for me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What does that mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Limit equations possibly?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need a linear equation with a infinite solutions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Like an identity?

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

4x + 4 = 4( x + 1) this is actually an identity not an equation and is true for all values of x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Perhaps OP means a 'system of equations.'

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dont ALL linear equations have infinite solutions depending on the value of the independent variable.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you explain that a bit more?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Edutopia only if it is a linear equation in more than one variable.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It would either be an identity or a dependent system of equations. I don't know how else to interpret the question.

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

y = 4x + 4 2y = 8x + 8

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

these 2 give the same line when graphed so thats infinite solutions
