i dont get it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Let's say we have a number \(n\). Double it to make \(2n\). Divide it by three to make \(\frac23n\). Subtract \(3.1\) to make \(\frac23n-3.1\). Finally, divide by \(5\) to make \(3.7\), so\[\frac{\frac23n-3.1}{5}=3.7\]Solve for the original number \(n\).

wats the answer i need to check my work

What answer did you get? Plug it in for \(n\) and see if your results are right.
