-0.4g>-1

OpenStudy (crissy):

anyone help!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Several ways to go about it. Someone probably wants you to divide by "-0.4" and REMEMBER to switch the inequality since you just divided by a negative number.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

g<2.5

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

I don't like having to REMEMBER. Add 1 -0.4g + 1 > 0 Add 0.4g 1 > 0.4g Now, everything is positive and inequality switched itself! Nothing to remember! Now divide by 0.4. Since it's positive, there is STILL nothing to REMEMBER. I like it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@tkhunny that still doesnt solve for g..

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Yes it does. It's an inequality. We're done. Did the original problem statement ask for something else?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah, to solve for the variable @tkhunny

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

That's not something else. That what you did. g < 2.5. Done.
