how do i use latex to ask a question here?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\int\limits e^x=e^x+c\ \text{is this correct?}\]

hartnn (hartnn):

yes, u just missed dx in question \(\int\limits e^xdx=e^x+c\ \text{is this correct?}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

integral e^x dx = e^x+c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thx, but how do I use latex to ask the question in the first place? in the queston box itself?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

\(\int e^x\) is a bad word.....

hartnn (hartnn):

u write that as `\( \int\limits e^xdx=e^x+c\ \text{is this correct?} \)` in comment box and u get \( \int\limits e^xdx=e^x+c\ \text{is this correct?} \) for more practice, see Latex group here http://openstudy.com/study#/groups/LaTeX%20Practicing!%20%3A)

hartnn (hartnn):

in question box, write it as `\[ \int\limits e^xdx=e^x+c\ \text{is this correct?} \]`

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

it's better to use \(\small \backslash [ \rm {code}\backslash ]\)...if you compare text \[\LaTeX\] text \(\LaTeX\) the spacing for \ (\) doesn't look very good

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[x^2\] cool, thank youlgbasallote

OpenStudy (anonymous):

merci beaucoup hartnn and pathosdebator, so, lgbasallote: i just surround what I wish to write with "backslash [ ..... backslash]", is that right?
