How do plants create lipids, carbohydrates, proteins, and nucleic acids all from photosynthesis?
meh... it's so complicated, I just want a brief explanation, nothing detailed
Well It creates carbohydrates through the Calvin Cycle...RuBP + CO2 --> PEP then PEP into G3P (Using the energy from breaking of ATP to ADP and oxidation of NADHP to NADH). GEP is essentially turned into: Glucose, fructose, starch, cellulose Oils G3P + Nitrogen --> Amino acids Some G3P then goes into the Regeneration state which makes the original RuBP that you used originally for your first equation (Hense it is a cycle). How is makes lipids proteins and Nucleic acids..:S? Unfortunately I do not know? I hope I helped enough!

Initially carbohydrates. Those initial carbohydrates are then used to as starting points to make lipids, proteins, nucleic acids - all the other complex, carbon based molecules in living cells.
