is m<4 = m<8...??
hartnn (hartnn):
i suppose they are vertical angles like this |dw:1351175799591:dw|
in that case they are equal,
3x=x+40
now solve this to get x
OpenStudy (anonymous):
If they are equal then answer will be 20...
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i got 4 llol

3x=x+40
subtract x from both sides , what u get ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
3x
OpenStudy (anonymous):
how are you soposed to subract x from both sides
OpenStudy (anonymous):
3x=x+40
subtract "x" on both sides..
3x - x = x - x +40
2x = 40
divide both sides by 2..
you'll get the answer as I have written above..
hartnn (hartnn):
like this:
3x = x+40
3x - x = x-x +40
x(3-1) = 0+40
2x=40
got this ?
