its easy with KVL and laplace transform
first learn the formulas for R L C then automatically u vil get the process
V = R*dq/dt + q/c + L*d(dq/dt)/dt (serial connected RLC circuit) dq/dt -> k*e^(jwt), (j = (-1)^0.5) then V = {R +1/(cjw) + Ljw}*ke^(jwt) then rearrange right side, one is real part, the other is complex part V(real part) = [R^2 + {Lw - 1/(cw)}^2]*k*cos(jwt-theta) V(complex part) = [R^2 + {Lw - 1/(cw)}^2]*k*sin(jwt-theta) theta is phasor differece between I to V
In order ro solve LRC circuits, you should have some background with exponents whicn are covered in Calculus II.
