i can only help wth c. th second stor @deztiny ... mybe @14NI can help more

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A) you want cost per oz. so $2.00/64oz is the answer. Of course calculate it and round to the nearest thousandth B) do the same thing but for the wholesale numbers. C) whatever is cheaper per oz is where he should go

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a) To find the unit price you would divide the ounces by the price to get the amount of ounces per dollar. \[Grocery = \frac{ 64 }{ 2 }=32\] So, that is 32 ounces per dollar. (32oz/d) b) \[Wholesale=\frac{ 256 }{ 7.50 }=34.133\] So, that is 34.133 ounces per dollar. (34.133oz/d) c) You would purchase your orange juice at the grocery store because they sell their orange juice for 32oz/d while the wholesale store sells their orange juice for 34.133oz/d.

Unit Price is defined as cost per unit. http://www.mathsisfun.com/measure/unit-price.html @I4NI

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[Grocery = \frac{ 2 }{ 64 }=0.031\] Which would be $0.031 per ounce. ($0.031/oz) \[Wholesale=\frac{ 7.50 }{ 256 }=0.029\] Which would be $0.029 per ounce. ($0.029/oz) So now you would buy from Wholesale? Or did I do something wrong? lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nope you were correct the second time. The first you made a mistake. Part c) you would by from wholesale because you get more oz per dollar.

@I4NI

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright, thanks for correcting me! @ChmE

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So what is the answer? Is it the first one or second???
