7p-4≥3p+12 please solve and show steps? HELP! 2f-5≤4f+13

You can add the same number to each side and still preserve the inequality. I suggest that you subtract 3p from both sides and add 4 to both sides. Write that out and show your work. What do you have so far?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can't subtract 3p from both sides because that is showing multiplication and I must undo it with division :/

I am referring to the inequality 7p - 4 >= 3p + 12. Is that not one of your problems? If it is, then subtract 3p from both sides and add 4 to both sides. That is step #1 and step #2. You still have one more step to go after that. That is how to start solving this inequality. Write this out so I know you're working on it.

I added 4 to both sides.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do both and then write this out and show your work.

I've tried this problem a few times and I'm not getting the right answer

-3> or = p

But I know that is the WRONG answer
